We’re having authentication issues to a repeated crash. We’re investigating. In the meantime, if you get authentication errors, please try again.

We’re still trying to figure out why Dovecot’s auth process is repeatedly crashing, although nothing has changed for months.

We think we’ve found the issue. Still not 100% sure.

Issue solved.

Our internal authentication database was flooded by requests due to a client sending spams (account hacked), which increased the response time up to Dovecot’s internal timeout, which eventually triggered the bug.

Isolating our internal database is in our TODO.
