router1 froze as we were running commands on it. The automatic failover failed to work properly, we’re investigating why. |

We’re highly confident that we’ve found the bug that caused router1 to freeze on both occasions this month. We’ll schedule tests to reproduce the bug (with the traffic rerouted to router2) and upgrade the kernel to a newer version with the bug fixed. When the bug is reproduced, we’ll also investigate why the failover is malfunctioning, as our laboratory tests obviously didn’t reproduce faithfully the situation. |
